San Lucas, Michoacán: 5,500 Marijuana Plants Found and Destroyed

Police corporations of Michoacán and the Army located 5,500 plants, apparently marijuana, which destroyed, but not before taking a sample to proceed according to law.
In a statement it is established that the confiscation was the result of operations for deterrence and prevention of crime, carried out by personnel from the Secretariats of Public Security, National Defense, and the State Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The elements carried out the actions in the vicinity of the town of El Machuque, of this municipality, through aerial inspections and ground foot, in which they located the property with the grass.

The agents of the Prosecutor’s Office, Police Michoacán and Mexican Army found the planting of the afore-mentioned drug, with marijuana plants of up to 80 centimeters, so they secured the site.
The state and army police delimited and guarded the site, while prosecutors took samples of the plants and other tests, according to securance protocols. Then they proceeded to incinerate the rest, from which they gave oversight to the competent authority.
