of the “Tijuana Sin Censura”, was executed during the afternoon of Sunday,
October 4.

Around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, the

longer had vital signs.

Before being attacked yesterday,
Mariano Soto assured that if he was the victim of an attack, he held the
municipal president of Tijuana, Arturo González, and the local secretary of
Public Security, Jorge Ayón, responsible, since he filed a complaint against
both of them for an alleged seizure of 600 kilograms of cocaine, which had not

On September 16 last, the
influencer suffered another gun attack, he received injuries in an arm and two
in the back.

Mariano Soto was sentenced to
prison in September 2019 for the crime of extortion and would spend five years
behind bars. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, he was left in a state
of semi-freedom.

The sentence established that the
influencer requested money, for several months, from a businessman, in exchange
for not starting a smear campaign against him on social networks. Although the
subject was not recognized as a journalist, he was registered in the Protection
Mechanism established by the federal government.

The influencer was recognized by
his followers when he used the phrase “It hurts whoever hurts” in his
videos of citizen complaints published on his Facebook account.
